Alan W. McIntyre, a Louisiana native and U.S. Army veteran, embarked on his legal career after graduating from law school in Jackson, Mississippi, in 1993. He initially practiced as a public defender in Union Parish, Louisiana, before establishing a private practice in Farmerville, focusing on family law, estate planning, probate, and real estate.


In 1996, he moved to Vienna, Illinois, becoming the First Assistant State's Attorney for Johnson County. His prosecutorial experience encompassed a wide array of criminal cases, including Murder, Sexual Assault, and DUI, accumulating over 40 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials. Alan ventured into municipal law, serving as the City Attorney in Cairo, Illinois, and later establishing his private practice in Vienna. In 2008, he acquired Johnson County Abstract Company, a title company established in 1897, and in 2015, he expanded by acquiring Pulaski County Abstract Company.


Today, Alan continues his legal practice and title services, upholding longstanding traditions and serving communities in Southern Illinois. Married for over 30 years with two sons, Alan remains committed to providing comprehensive legal support in the region.
